The first person a guest meets at the Greenville Municipal Auditorium isn't the headliner — it's an usher. A friendly hello at the door, a program in the hand, a smile that says glad you're here. That's the memory folks carry home.
Our volunteer team of 30 to 35 makes every performance possible. They're retirees and teachers, longtime locals and brand-new neighbors, music lovers and history buffs — all sharing one Saturday night at a time in the room where Elvis once played.
Meet folks at the door with a smile, hand out programs, and make first-timers feel like regulars.
Scan and tear tickets at the entrance — the small ritual that turns a plan into a night out.
Walk guests to their row, point out restrooms and the concession stand, keep the aisles calm before the lights dim.
Once the house is settled, you slip into an open seat and enjoy the performance on us. Every show, every time.
We welcome volunteers from all walks of life. No performing arts background needed — just a warm demeanor, a reliable calendar, and comfort on your feet for a few hours at a time.
Whether you can help at one show a month or one show a week, there's a spot for you on the crew.
Enjoy the show at no cost the nights you work.
Friendships forged in the lobby and the aisles, night after night.
You're carrying on a Texas tradition that's over eighty years strong.
Send us a short note and we'll be in touch about next steps. Tell us a little about yourself, when you can help, and any questions on your mind. We'd love to meet you.
See you at the door.
